When it comes to watching a foreign film, I prefer subtitles. Voiceovers sound lazy, and take away from the emotion that the original actors expressed. It’s the cheap way out because many Americans don’t feel like reading lines when watching a film. If the movie is really good, however, you don’t even realize there were subtitles after you’ve finished watching it. You remember it as if it were in English.
But yeah, I really don’t like voiceovers. It doesn’t match up, it sounds rehearsed, and completely changes the mood of the movie.
It’s kinda depressing seeing my nursing class…well, my old nursing class, post in our facebook group about assignments for next year. I already turned off the notifications, and as much as I wanna leave the group, I don’t want to either because I was so close with them. I’ve accepted the fact that I’m a year behind now but it still really sucks. I wouldn’t care as much if we weren’t such a tight-knit group. But whatever. There’s nothing I can do about it. I gotta suck it up, and I guess I can still hang out with them outside of class. But it’s just not the same.
Midnight workout cuz I was too lazy to get my butt outta bed and do it earlier. Oh well.
